  • Chief organiser of the ´”Inter-University Students Research Conference on Green Crimes” held in the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo in April, 2015.  Students from University of Jaffna, University of Colombo and Kothalawala Defence University presented their research papers on environmental related crimes.  This is the first students research conference, organised in the Faculty of Law for its seven decades of long history.
  • Co-editor, Annual Research Symposium Proceedings, 2014, University of Colombo.  The University Research Symposium was held on 20th-21st of November 2014 under the theme of “University-Industry Collaboration to Strengthen the Knowledge Hub of Sri Lanka 
  • Consultant Researcher for National Child Protection Authority, Sri Lanka.  Currently involve in writing the country report for South Asian Initiative to End Violence Against Children (SAIEVAC).  The research report will be written on three main  thematic areas; Child Marriage, Corporal Punishment, Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.
  • One of the outstanding achievements of her academic life is being the chief organizer in “Law Goes Green-2014”, the first environmental day organised by any Sri Lankan university ever.  The project was primarily aimed at improving the environment around the Faculty and to inculcate a sense of responsibility and appreciation towards their environment among the undergraduates. Dr. Konasinghe, as the chief organizer of the project was successful in making a collaborative effort with the Central Environmental Authority, environmental non-governmental organizations, academic, non-academic and the entire student population of the Faculty of Law for making an effort to protect and promote the environment of the university.
