Legislative Drafting Process: Briefing Sessions

Briefing sessions on the “Legislative Drafting Process” were held at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo on the 21^st February 12^th March and 14^th March in the Sinhala, English and Tamil languages respectively. The sessions were organized by the Interpretation of Statutes and Documents course team of the Department of Private and Comparative Law, aiming the third year undergraduates following the course. The sessions were conducted by Ms. Deepthika Kulasena, Deputy Legal Draftsman and Mr. Sivakkumaran, former Deputy Legal Draftsman at the Legal Draftsman’s Department of Sri Lanka.
