On July 31, 2024, the Department of Private and Comparative Law hosted an illuminating special lecture on Comparative Law, delivered by Professor (Chair) Rose Wijeyesekera. The lecture was held at the Board Room of the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, and was attended by departmental academic staff members eager to deepen their understanding of comparative law approaches to teaching and research.
