WORKSHOP ON TEACHING AND RESEARCHING INTERNATIONAL LAW IN ASIA – SRI LANKA
The workshop was conducted on the 7th and 8th of June 2019 at the Faculty of Law, and it was jointly organized by the Department of Public and International Law of the Faculty of Law, and the Centre for International Law, National University of Singapore.
The core team of organizers consisted of Prof. Anthony Anghie, Professor of Law at the National University of Singapore; Prof. Indira Nanayakkara, the Dean of the Faculty of Law; Prof. V.T. Thamilmaran, Head of the Department of Public and International Law, Faculty of Law; Mr. Eugenio Gomez, Chico Barbara of the Centre for International Law of National University of Singapore, and Ms. D.S. Medawatte – Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Law. The main resource person of the workshop was Prof. Anthony Anghie. Prof. M. Sornarajah, the C.J. Koh Professor of Law at the National University of Singapore, also graced the occasion.
