Inauguration Ceremony of Advanced Certificate in Fundamentals of Criminal Law-2021

The Department of Public and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo successfully organised the Inauguration Ceremony for the Advanced Certificate in Fundamentals of Criminal Law on the 24th of April 2021 via online. With the successful completion of the Advanced Certificate Course on Fundamentals of Criminal Law in the year of 2019, the Department recalled applications for the same for the second consecutive year a few months back. Despite the pandemic situation prevailing in the country, the Department received a number of applications from nook and corners of Sri Lanka and successfully held its Inauguration Ceremony. Prof.Indira Nanayakkara, the Dean, Faculty of Law and Prof. Wasantha Seneviratne, the Head of the Department of Public and International Law, headed the event along with Prof. Jeeva Niriella, the Course Coordinator of Advanced Certificate in Fundamentals of Criminal Law. Due to the prevailing pandemic situation in the country, it was decided that the course will be conducted via online.
