The Faculty of Law emerged Champions at the Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition 2019

The National rounds of the Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition 2019 were held from the 22nd to 23rd of October 2019, at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo, with the participation of 07 teams from law teaching institutions of Sri Lanka.

The competition was organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Sri Lanka.

The Faculty of Law, University of Colombo emerged Champions at the Competition and the Department of Law, University of Jaffna emerged Runners-Up. The team representing the Faculty of Law won the best award for Memorials and Mr. Lakshitha Edirisinghe won the award for Best Advocate.

The Faculty of Law, University of Colombo was represented by Ms. Rasara Jayasuriya, Ms. Sajini Wickremasinghe and Mr. Lakshitha Edirisinghe.
